Details
- Adds new menus to the fridge, stove,Grill and BBQ Pit
- New menus added are – Make Custom Food, Make Custom Gourmet Food, Make Custom Vampire Food, Make Custom Toddler Food, Grab Custom Snack, Custom Grand meal
- Enables new custom recipes to appear in the fridge and stove recipe picker
- Requires frequent updates for patch as well as for addition of new food resources
- Requires both the .package and .ts4script files
- This mod only adds the menus. for the actual recipes, you need to download the individual recipes
- The recipes can also be accesed via Custom Cooking Objects ( Script is not required for this)
Troubleshooting
1. Redownload from this folder – Simfileshare Link
2. Make sure your mods and scripts are enabled
3. Put only those above files +/- MCCC in your mods folder
4. Test in a fresh ‘test’ save
5. Do you get the menus now ?
6. Put in the recipes in .package format and check whether the recipes appear. Make sure that your sim has enough skill points

Is it compatible with the legacy edition? I've used it on legacy for a while and not had any issues until the latest update. It still is just showing vampire and toddler food. No cook custom or bake custom or cook custom gourmet. I took everything out of my mods folder except for the custom food interactions and it still shows the same thing.

I've done everything under troubleshooting. I am getting multiple LE's with only custom food interactions in my mods folder.

If the LEs are empty you can ignore them..they are just because the code for power requirement changed a bit. I will slowly update the recipes one by one with the power code once I get a free weekend. if the LEs have some errors mentioned, make sure to use the custom food interaction package along with the SCCO script

Yeah they are definitely not empty, they are full LE’s but I’m not sure how to read them but they aren’t empty. So I should try SCCO script and custom food package?

I tried to use the custom food interaction package and the scco script but I still can't get it to work. I also am not getting the open option on the fridge or serve breakfast, lunch, dinner on the fridge. and still getting an LE. I just can't seem to figure it out lol. the only thing in my mods folder is custom foods package and scco, i took everything else out

Hmm..the unable to open fridge was due to an old version of the xml injector as far as I know.

Is there anyway to possibly make a Chocolate Milk for the Fridge as a Quick Meal? I love that the game has regular milk but would love Chocolate Milk as an option.

Make sure the script is not more than 2 folders deep and that you have script mods enabled

1) You need one script – Either Custom Food Interactions script or SCCO script. Make sure the script is not more than one folder deep. Make sure your script mods are enabled 2) You need the Custom Food Interaction Package (Download it from MTS) even if you use the SCCO script

Speaking of the eco pack, any chance we might see some custom insect meals? The game just doesn't provide enough. I'd especially like more things to make with the grubs and beetles.

hello! first i want to say thank you for creating such fantastic content for the community (i use your cotton candy machine in nearly every public lot!). i just thought i'd pass along that i got a last exception from your beignets yesterday. not sure if it affected my gameplay (the lot kept freezing but i also had tons of sims on the lot, which is likely the reason). just wanted to let you know that my LE file did say it was the beignets that caused at least backend error! i have the most recent version as i just downloaded them a week or two ago.have a great weekend!

hey! I just wanted to bring to light an issue I have found and ask if anyone has a work around! I have recently attempted a yard sale of IceMunMun's jams but the table is completely unresponsive. When going full vanilla, the tables work fine but the second I add the foods back, the table moves around the yard but the action wheel doesn't come up and the item itself becomes completely impossible to interact with. Love all the work you have been doing and absolutely love all of your food mods! Just wanted to let you and other users know about the issue!

I haven't tested it before because I only just found out about the feature. I have LE but it pops up every time I load the game now and I am a little lazy to look through it anymore. I can try taking out the canning station and see if that fixes the issue. Or would it be better to check the LE?

I really would love to play with your mod. It is totally what I was looking for since I like gardening and cooking. However, after I placed the files into the Mod folder in Documents my game won't start at all. It also seems to cause problems with Origins. I wonder if I did anything wrong. I downloaded everything necessary and I use only one sub folder. Everything is updated but I dont own all of the expansion packs. Is there any way to do troubleshooting? After removing the files from the mod folder the game works again normally.And one more suggestion/favor to ask: I would be really cool to see Korean food like Kimchi jjigae, Ttokbokki, Bibimbab, Jjampong and especially Samgyetang. And some german food like Maultaschen or Jaegerschnitzel served with Speatzle and sauce. Or Schnitzel with french fries. It could be imaginable to make your own kimchi using chinese cabbage, korean radish, red chili, carrots and onions (korean pots used for fermentation already exist from another sim4 artist). The kimchi can then be used for cooking or selling. (Ex: Kimchi jeon- a kind of korean pancake and also in kimchi jjigae) Other ideas would be soy beans to harvest to make tofu and soy milk to cook and sell. Korean perilla leaves for harvest to eat with samgyeopsal. Asparagus (green and white) would be also cool to harvest and would be good for more dishes with fish or steak.

Hey make sure that the script is unpacked and is in .ts4script format, script mods are enabled. Also the script cannot go more than one folder deep.

Do you have the black plate package ? Didi you download the canning station from the WIP link on patreon ( that is the latest version). Send me the LE. upload to a file sharing site and send me the link here or on twitter/tumblr

Hmm…off the top of my head I cant remeber if i have released any custom snacks except the toddler foods on MTS. ATS4 has some snacks which is compatible with the custom food interaction
