🍲 ALL CUSTOM FOOD UPDATED ON 9.7.2020
Details
- Adds new menus to the fridge, stove,Grill and BBQ Pit
- New menus added are – Make Custom Food, Make Custom Gourmet Food, Make Custom Vampire Food, Make Custom Toddler Food, Grab Custom Snack, Custom Grand meal
- Enables new custom recipes to appear in the fridge and stove recipe picker
- Requires frequent updates for patch as well as for addition of new food resources
- Requires both the .package and .ts4script files
- This mod only adds the menus. for the actual recipes, you need to download the individual recipes
- The recipes can also be accesed via Custom Cooking Objects ( Script is not required for this)
Troubleshooting
1. Redownload from this folder – Simfileshare Link
2. Make sure your mods and scripts are enabled
3. Put only those above files +/- MCCC in your mods folder
4. Test in a fresh ‘test’ save
5. Do you get the menus now ?
6. Put in the recipes in .package format and check whether the recipes appear. Make sure that your sim has enough skill points

@MunMun I'm not this original person, but I would imagine they mean: fried chicken, collard greens, chicken and waffles, ribs, hamhocks with peas and rice (separate from a grand meal; peas = black eyed peas, cowpeas, or pigeon peas, biscuits and gravy, chitlings (even though I personally loathe them), and, my personal favorite, oxtail (although I like them more as a Jamaican dish). Speaking of which, will Caribbean dishes be a think? I'd love to see jerk meats and coconut meats!! Also, is a custom buff when eating soups a possibility? (Ideally, I'm thinking the dazed food buff with the headline as “Warm Soup Belly.”) // @Anonymous I didn't include mac and cheese (in game), sweet potato pie (in game and via Leniad), yams (via MunMun), cornbread (via MunMun), banana pudding (via Leniad)

I love your work, thank you! I'd love to see a few more Middle Eastern foods, especially Koshary (Egyptian) and Knafeh. 🙂 Also, maybe some more seafood, like oysters, or mussels and frites, mussels in pasta, etc. Thanks again! 🙂

Hej Är så tacksam för ditt fantastiska jobb som du lägger alla funkar jättebra utom med Cafet jag får upp alla rätter när min sim är hemma och kan även laga dom det står rätt också tex cook customers food allt fungera perfekt men jag åkte till ett Cafe i Windenburg och där funkar det inte får inget script fel men inget dyker upp när jag beställer har du nån aning om vad det kan vara för fel. My custom food interaction isn't working either, also, I couldn't get the grey curse “buy foods” interaction until I removed all of your recipes from the game. Are they not compatible anymore?

Sorry…I haven't checked compatibility with graycurse's mod recently. Make sure you have all the recent updates. What other issue are you having with food interaction ? Do you have an last exception file ?

I'm unable to see any of you food in the game. The only thing that shows up is one of the Alien drinks I downloaded. The custom food mod doesn't go pass the Cook Custom Meal option. What did I do wrong?

I am having this same issue! Also my “open” option for the fridge is gone. Not sure if it is related to this mod or not but thought it was worth mentioning.

Oxtails are a Jamaican dish but soul food does include those foods, fried chicken, collard greens, chicken and waffles, ribs, black eyed peas, cornbread, candied yams, baked mac & cheese, hushpuppies, sweet potato pie, bread pudding, corn pudding, rice pudding…grits (grits can be sweet or savory, sugar grits or cheese grits, grits are versatile)PLEASE DON'T DO CHITLINGS. Chitlings are DISGUSTING. Unless you could make a buff when it's cooked like “WHAT IS THAT NASTY SMELL” because they are intestines so they smell absolutely putrid. I couldn't stay in the HOUSE because the smell envelopes everything around you. Imagine have your head in a toilet after someone who ate taco bell used it and didn't flush. (biscuits & gravy are more a southern dish, not soul food)

Hi! 🙂 I downloaded the mod and the recipes but for some reason my sims aren't able to eat it. They can cook but can't reach the plate. Scripts mods are enabled and I have both the script and the file package… I also got a last exception error. Thanks in advance! 🙂
