- Then waits for processing of the bottle.
- Following the processing the sim then pours the nectar into a bottle
- If the nectar maker is dirty you might get poor quality nectar bottles.
- Do not interrupt the sim during the nectar making process ( may cause errors)

V. NECTAR BOTTLE
– DETAILS
- Nectar Bottle is crafted by Make Nectar and Combine Nectar Flavours interaction.
- After crafting process is completed, the sim sets down the nectar bottle on the nearest terrain or surface.
- Base price : Single ingredient Nectar – 150 simoleons ; Combo nectar – 250 simoleons.
- Price increments are based on quality and the nectar making skill of the sim.

1. Open Bottle – Gives 6 glasses of nectar in the sim’s inventory2. Name – Rename the nectar Bottle
3. Sell to Restaurant – Unlocks at skill level 6. Sell at 1.5 x price.
Buff – Restaurant Ravings ( +2 Happy, 120 sim minutes)
4. Sell to Connoisseur – Unlocks at skill level 10. Sell at 2x the price.
Buff – Avante garde Nectar( +2 Inspired, 120 sim minutes)

- Opening a bottle of nectar will give 6 glasses of nectar in the sim inventory
- Can be sold – Retail shops, City Living Cart
- Nectar Glasses are also available from the Professional Bar ( if you have Custom drink interaction Mod)
- Nectar glasses can be crafted by a mixologist with a high enough skill ( I imagine that mixologist buys the bottle and pours the nectar into glasses)
- Glasses of nectar can be bought directly from the Professional Bar.
- Available from the Dine Out Restaurant menu ( under drinks)

VII. NECTAR ADDICTION
– NECTAR DRINKING BUFFS
Drinking glasses of nectar gives different levels of buffs depending upon the no. of glasses drunk and how quickly the nectar is consumed. Each buff will be accompanied by various effects on sims’s motives and push them to do certain social interactions.
- Pleasantly Buzzed ( +2 Happy, 2 sim hours)
- Tipsy ( +2 Confident, 3 sim hours)
- Drunk ( +3 Energized, 4 sim hours )
- Sloshed ( +5 Dazed, 5 sim hours)
- Hungover ( + 4 Uncomfortable, 3 sim hours)
To get fully sloshed, the sim has to drink 4 glasses of nectar back to back.
– NECTARISM/NECTAR ADDICTION
- After sufficient nectar drinking, the sim can experience some occasional craving buffs.
- Nectar Addiction can be removed by clicking ‘Quit nectar Addiction‘ on the sim.
- After quitting addiction, the addiction statistic resets
- Becoming addicted is a very slow process and the sim would not see any effects unless they drink nectar all the time.( may not see during normal gameplay)
VIII. VAMPIRES
- Vampires can drink Plasma nectar and Blood Mary Nectar
- Fills Vampire thirst
- Adds buff Vampiric sustenance (+2 Happy, 2 sim hours)
Will add other occult specific nectars in the future

X. Compatibility with Custom drink interaction Mod
If you have the Custom drink interaction on MTS, then the nectar glasses will appear on the professional Bar menu under ‘Make Custom drinks‘ and ‘Buy Custom drinks‘ Interaction
XI. Issues
- Nectar Maker Requires a base to be placed
- 🚩🚫Cannot be placed in a room with a ceiling. Turn on move objects (bb.moveobjects) to be able to place it indoors.
- Interrupting the nectar making process may produce errors
- The empty glass from catalogue may crash the game. DO NOT CLICK IT.
- The sims require seating to drink the nectar. ( Will look into this more)
- After pouring nectar into glass while using a bar, the sim would either drink ( can be cancelled) or put down the nectar bottle. This nectar bottle is as good as new and will have the relevant interactions.
- The pouring animation for nectar making lacks a prop atm. I will try to add a prop in the future.
- The recolouring presets are a bit higher above the mesh. Zoom out when using the design tool.

If you do not have the harvestables installed, the nectar will just show no ingredient requirement.
The harvestables are NOT MANDATORY for the mod. The nectars can still be made, but the nectars will lack ingredients required.

By any chance, are you going to update this and the Canning Mod once the “Eco Living EP” will be out this june? Heard that, that EP is going to include nectars, preserves, and new harvestables! As far as I know we are getting Fizzy drinks – bottles and can ( from the picture). I dont see any mention of nectar, preserves in the official statements ? I think they would have mentioned if they would have added major systems like nectar and preserve making! Regardless of whatever comes, I am going to play around with the new systems and add new stuff to it for sure!

You need the custom drinks script if you want the nectar to be be able to be crafted by the professional bar! otherwise you dont need it

Thank you. As a precaution, I made sure every mod im using is up to date tonight, and it really isn't a very long list, and I downloaded again the nectar maker incase my version was out of date but the problem still persists

That is true though, been looking onto it too! I saw on one youtuber's video where the simgurus were replying to comments about the new EP on twitter about the nectar making stuff. One simguru replied vaguely about it and I instantly thought they would really be putting those in. If they do, I'm pretty dang sure you'd make mods for those and of course I'd be downloading all of them ❤

Hello, loving your mod. I keep having an issue thought. My nectar maker keeps on disappearing and I have to buy it again every time (happened 3 times). One time I had to download a the packages again because it was gone from the game completely.

Hi, I downloaded this mod, but it lagged by game so much that I couldn't even load game play. I had to delete this mod so my game could work. Basically it crashed my game before I could even try it.Any clues why? Thanks.

Hey..the mod is in .package and .ts4script format. it does not require unarchiving. You just have to put them in the mods folder in the form it downloads!

Quick question. with the introduction of the candlemaking station and the fizzing station in the newest expansion pack, do you know how this will affect your CC? for example will you end up combining the nectar with the fizz station?

Hi again! I was the one who reported the Cabbage Rolls error. I'm also getting one pointing to the Nectar Making mod. When I try to add a buff via MCCC, it throws up this error and records it in MCCC's log. [Jun-10-2020 13:53:08]An error has occurred when trying to add a buff to the buff dialog: [Jun-10-2020 13:53:08]This is almost always because there is a mod that is altering a Sims 4 buff or adding this as a custom buff that is out of date.

I will remake my candles for the candle making station. However I see the fizzy juice more as beer and/or soda because of the appliance appearance ( which is for craft beer brew) and i see nectar as wine! But I will make custom fizzy

Just a mourning buff. It happens right when I go into that option in MCCC, before I can even select a buff. So basically, I navigate to the “Add Buff” option via MCCC's settings, click on it, then the error shows up. I can click it away and select any buff as normal, but it happens every time I go to that Add Buff option.

I have downloaded and have all the files in my mods folder, everything is showing up in the game except the maker base; which causes me to not be able to place the nectar maker:( I have the files placed in the first folder so they aren't too deep yet it still won't work. hoping you can help me out with this problem!

Hi. I love this mod! I noticed after this last update that my sims want to make nectar drinks constantly. And I mean constantly. No errors or anything, just an “obsession” with making nectar drinks. I have to keep clicking it off. In one game (where my sims are not making nectar), I finally deleted the bar cause it was so bad. Any ideas why?

My sims keep wanting to make “nectar” drinks constantly. I have to keep clicking it off again and again. Making nectar drinks pops up even when my sims are engaged in another task. No errors, just a constant “make nectar drink” thing. Of course I'm using the custom drinks mod so I don't know where the problem is coming from.

Hey…its an issue with the eco lifestyle pack and patch whereby the sims obsesively make cake or drinks or obsessively keep on eating and drinking. This is in part due to the overpowered NAPs. I will try to tone down the behaviour by removing the autonomous drink making

That should definitely not be happening as there are no shared resources. Do you use SCCO to load the recipes or custom food interaction script ?

Hello, I am really enjoying this mod, however, I too am having the issue of the nectar maker keeps disappearing. This happens especially on community lots. I can place it and use it. When I re-enter the lot, it has always disappeared. I have to rebuy it every time. Of course, in build mode on a community lot it isn't directly costing my sim. I do also have it on residential lots and it only disappears occasionally. I do not receive any LE's and I have also tried removing all mods except this one and it still happens. Is it not meant for community lot use? I can work around it, but it is quite puzzling.

Hey.I really love your creations. I do have a problem with the peppermint schnapps. It says i need 3 “peppermint plants” to make it. I have plenty of peppermint in my inventory, but no plants. Is this intentional?

Nectar making doesn't seem to work in off-grid batches, mine always generate an LE, is this normal?

I didnt make it off the grid compatible since i imagined power was required for the main machine to run! I may look into making an alternate off the grid version. What LE are you getting ? A LE maybe gebrated if the sim is interrupted in any way while crafting

This mod is amazing! Although, I've noticed a few bugs in the current build so far: The Sauvignon Blanc bottle, when opened, gives Blackberry nectar, and I am also unable to open bottles of Ebony Arbor. The Sauvignon also doesn't appear as an option to add to restaurant menus. I haven't tested opening a lot of bottles, so there may be others that don't open as well. Again, I love this mod! Thank you so much for making it!
