Details
- Adds new menus to the fridge, stove,Grill and BBQ Pit
- New menus added are – Make Custom Food, Make Custom Gourmet Food, Make Custom Vampire Food, Make Custom Toddler Food, Grab Custom Snack, Custom Grand meal
- Enables new custom recipes to appear in the fridge and stove recipe picker
- Requires frequent updates for patch as well as for addition of new food resources
- Requires both the .package and .ts4script files
- This mod only adds the menus. for the actual recipes, you need to download the individual recipes
- The recipes can also be accesed via Custom Cooking Objects ( Script is not required for this)
Troubleshooting
1. Redownload from this folder – Simfileshare Link
2. Make sure your mods and scripts are enabled
3. Put only those above files +/- MCCC in your mods folder
4. Test in a fresh ‘test’ save
5. Do you get the menus now ?
6. Put in the recipes in .package format and check whether the recipes appear. Make sure that your sim has enough skill points

Though they were updated after the Eco lifestyle patch. they dont require updates for this patch

Make sure that the files are in .package and .ts4cript format.

The all in one folder is a perk for my patrons :). I tediously go and update all the public posts as well 🙂

All the food is available for for both children and toddlers ( via the toddler chair and fridge)

Hey make sure that the script is unpacked and is in .ts4script format, script mods are enabled. Also the script cannot go more than one folder deep.

please help me this mod does not work, i tried sushi food with custom foods mood, link is here: https://ohmysims404.tumblr.com/post/147009170244/sushi-set-this-is-custom-food-that-sims-canbut when i started sims 4 (and so at link said i need level 3 for sushi to make) and then clicked on fridge there was choice custom food and i clicked it and it had three choices, make food for toddler and i forgot 2. choice and 3. is make custom snack i clicked on every but all been empty and normal cooking been empty how to fix it

Thank you for your great work! I have a question. Some custom foods seem to display duplicated in the cooking list. (ex: Black cake, Cranberry cake, Raspberry sorbet, Strawberry soda float) Can I have any assistance with this error? FYI, I'm using this mod with SCCO.

I am having problems downloading anything after #39 :c the file sharing website just will not load for me, even after I turn off the adblock. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or if the website is just broken right now.

1) Enable script mods2) Download both the custom food interaction script + package ( dont put script more than one folder deep)3) make sure your sims have enough skill points for cooking the recipe ( homestyle and gourmet)

I really love your work! It makes the gameplay so much more fun! Thank you so much for you hard work and effort! I always come back to your site to look for new stuff.I was looking at a couple of different food mods for TS4 but I like yours the best! Unfortunatelly I can't find anyone who has done korean foods so far (I even searched in Korean). I really hope that in future u could also make some korean foods?There is this CC for creating a korean pub: https://blog.naver.com/99chri/221336717780And someone even recreated the korean restauraunt of the Netflix series “Itaewon class”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dwdb8pCZLV4So I thought it would be cool if it was actually possible to fully operate a korean restauraunt by offering korean foods and alcohols in the menu. I dont even have the sightest idea on how to create such things. I really wish I could learn from you!

I'm having the same problem, I got rid of greycurse's mod and it didn't work, I never had jambalaya or srsly's script. I'm still trouble shooting though. Some recipes are showing the pictures, some the blue image but all they'll tell me is the ingredients and when I click she just grabs it and then their on the floor and she can't complete the dish (not that I know what they even are). Was there ever a solution to this.

I figured out my issue, there was a folder I hadn't notice from greycurse and I got rid of it fixing all but two recipes. Something seems wrong with your vanilla recipe override as well. It added two recipes I couldn't access but I could still use it on other recipes like cakes and other BG foods. Also, I'm not sure what's up with the coconut, but the drink option doesn't work. I downloaded both files thinking maybe it was labeled incorrectly but neither worked, if it's supposed to. It gives the option then the coconut disappears. Can still plant it and that's really all I want it for but thought maybe you should know these issues incase you didn't already. Sorry, for bombarding you with these messages. Thank you so much for the mods. I love the extra food and harvestables, you're doing a great job ^_^

Use 7zip instead of any other file program. WINRAR did not work for me and as soon as I used 7zip, the food menus showed up.

IF YOUR FOOD MENU IS NOT WORKING (the ‘Custom Food…” option is showing, but when you click it, there are no food items) follow icenumnum’s instructions above.If that doesn’t work and you want detailed instructions: delete mtsfoodgroup_foods-custom-interactions package file and TS4Script file.Put all of your food recipes in a folder labeled “Food.” (This helps clean up your mod folder)ThisPC/Documents/Electronic Arts/TheSims4/Mods/FoodRedownload the files above that you deleted. ***USE ONLY 7zip to unzip your files.***Place them in your Mods folder, not in your Foods Folder. Back out to your Sims 4 folder.Find the file: local thumbnail cache.package file and delete it.(You need to delete this file every time you add/remove mods to ensure successful gameplay) Start your game and you’re good to go.

Hi there! Love your custom food and the murphy bed mod was a life saver (literally)! Is there an official way to send you custom food ideas or is the comment section enough? If so I'd love Vienna Schnitzel or my personal favourite Schnitzel Hawaii (Schnitzel topped with small pineapple pieces, sauce hollandaise and melted cheese, usually with french fries and a small side salad). Also Spätzle would also be great! Can you tell I'm German? lol

1. Hey Which foods are not showing ? All or some of them ? 2. Do you have the script + package in addition to the recipes them selves ? 3. Are the files in .ts4script and .package format ? Make sure the ts4script file is not more than one folder deep. 4. Are script mods enabled ? 5. Do you have enough skill points ( Homestyle cooking and gourmet cooking) 6. Do the menus show up but not the food or the menus themselves are absent ?

Um I need help, so when I try to cook some recipes some of them come up with a blue screen but it only shows the ingredients that are needed for the recipe.

There are some people who do eat chitterlings. You don't have to cook them if you don't like them. Chicken & waffles, ribs (oven cooked) & hush puppies definitely sound interesting.

Here are some more ideas: Pernil, arroz y gandules, flan, pasteles, seafood paella, mofongo, mangu, churros. Greek salad, lemon potates, gyro (chicken, lamb, beef), dolmadakia, moussaka. Aloo mutter, tikka masala, butter chicken, naan, tandoori chicken. Chicken piccata, (baked) ziti, manicotti, stuffed shells, antipasto platter. Fried rice, chow mein, lo mein, kung pao chicken, char siu, hot pot, satay, shrimp vermicelli, pad thai, tom yum goong. Soup joumou, black rice, pate, fritay. Brown stew chicken, ackee & salt fish, curry chicken/goat, escovitch fish, pepper pot, callaloo.

I'm late seeing this but I totally second the idea of having some Korean recipes represented since ea completely dropped the ball on this one. I'm glad I found this comment! The kimchi idea sounds really awesome. I can picture it being created on both. The Korean granny in the country making it the traditional way on the canning station or the person in the city recreating it on the stove. Maybe if the canning skill is high they can have a cute “authentic/ traditional kimchi” buff even if they make it on the canning station or stove lol not to give you more work to do.What I originally came to ask was if you'd consider creating a functional Korean bbq grill out of the hot pot from Snowy Escape with recipes for Samgyeopsal, galbi, and bulgogi etc. then plated with side dishes?(While I'm already being greedy) do you think you'll ever make grand meals/add grand meal options to any future recipes? Haha eating the same 3/4 things for holidays is tiring especially if your sim is a vegetarian…Thank you, thank you for all that you do! All of your creations have enhanced my gameplay beyond words!
