Details

  • Adds new menus to the fridge, stove,Grill and BBQ Pit
  • New menus added are – Make Custom Food, Make Custom Gourmet Food, Make Custom Vampire Food, Make Custom Toddler Food, Grab Custom Snack, Custom Grand meal
  • Enables new custom recipes to appear in the fridge and stove recipe picker
  • Requires frequent updates for patch as well as for addition of new food resources
  • Requires both the .package and .ts4script files
  • This mod only adds the menus. for the actual recipes, you need to download the individual recipes
  • The recipes can also be accesed via Custom Cooking Objects ( Script is not required for this)
Troubleshooting
 
1. Redownload from this folder – Simfileshare Link
2. Make sure your mods and scripts are enabled
3. Put only those above files +/- MCCC in your mods folder
4. Test in a fresh ‘test’ save 
5. Do you get the menus now ?
6. Put in the recipes in .package format and check whether the recipes appear. Make sure that your sim has enough skill points

  4. I tried all you said and nothing…I've downloaded everything custom and neitherI click the option cook custom food from the fridge but nothing happen.Any ideas?

  5. Do you get the sub menus ? Does the recipe picker appear ? Can you find the recipes under brunch/breakfast/lunch/dinner/dessert ? Does your sims have enough skill ?

  6. hi!! i downloaded all the harvestables as well as the recipes. But only certain recipes show up. I followed the instructions you left, but nothing seems to work. Please help!!!

  7. If some of your recipes show up and not all, then the issue can be – 1) Your sims does not have the required skill points. Also look under the gourmet and the bake menu2) The recipe files are not properly unpacked and not in .package format

  8. Could you please update? I believe it broke with one of the recent updates, I saw a similar comment talking about what's also happening to me. I have the panel for your custom food, but once I click on it, nothing happens.

  9. This happens if you have an outdated fridge mod..I have had reports of this happening if you have Graycurse's fridge overhaul mod ( as it uses an outdated version of xml injector). I do not have that mod so I cannot check in game.

  10. I've notice something. I've checked if I had the fridge overhaul and I didn't.Then i notice on the game that the recipes are on the game because the sims can make them, but autonomously and it also appear on the menu on the restaurants. But not in the fridges. So mainly my problem is that I can not make a meal if I want to because the menu of selection does not appear.Any ideas?Thank u in advance =)

  13. Hello! Just to let you know it seems that the jambalaya is being listed as a last exception by MCCC, not sure if it is just my game or the file but I found it out by batch testing the recipes. Thank you so much for creating this mod I love it so much!!

  16. Hi! So my game was recently crashing and one of the reasons that I found was that I had custom food from both you and Leniad. I think that different customs foods conflict. So, I was wondering if I decide to keep your chicken coop mod, Candy mod, cotton candy mod, and candle making mod, would it conflict with the food from Leniad?

  17. As far as I know the custom foods should not conflict. it has been reported by many people that custom food interactions and Leniad's updated menus work fine. My recipe Jambalaya has an issue( as mentioned in the download page) due to one of the patches and may cause an LE. best to remove that.

  19. Hello great mod , I am using it with some Japanese food dishes. I was wondering if there was a way that you you could consolidate all the dishes listed into one “All Dishes” file cause I would love to have all of them but there are a LOT of them. Keep up the fantastic work you do, thanks.

  21. hey, I downloaded that awsome mod and the custom foods, but I have a problem now – I can see most of the custom foods, but a lot of recipes from the regular game food are missing at all. foe example in the regular cook section there are maybe ten recipes (the sim is in the highest skill level). also I have one recipe without picture, only a blue cube and no caption, like a glitch or something. Why is it happening ? I downloaded everything as you explained 🙂

  22. Make sure to remove Jambalaya recipe. Also if you are using srsly sims's script, make sure to use the food group package as it contains utensils

  31. I love everything about this mod!! And I look forward to more recipes!! So far, there's 2 foods that won't let my sims eat them. The Peach Crumble and The Lemon Olive Spaghetti.

  32. I'm not sure if this is a question you could answer but what is cooking beef, milk, sugar, flour. This stops me from being able to cook a full meal when you need to use all ingredients. Can ANYONE help me understand? I didn't know where to go to ask this question. Thanks PS. Love your work.

  35. I downloaded the MTS file and the option for custom recipe shows up but no recipes appear under them despite having downloaded the custom recipes. The custom recipes appear as purchasable in the buy mode. What can I do to fix this? Love you work!

I've loved your work, makes for wonderful additions/choices MunMun, thank you so very much for doing this, perchance will you be doing foods such shish kebab, and other foods such as those from Romania? They have some very fine dishes, to say nothing of a desire for a nice roasted game hen (chicken, or otherwise) that's whole in the game 🙂

  40. Thank you for all these options! I had a question though! Does downloading the version of the recipe where you do not need to download the fruit/veggies still allow you to cook the recipe at a lower price if you grow the fruits/veggies/etc? I have all of the recipes and ingredients, but having the version where you can't cook unless you have already bought/grown your ingredients makes it hard to play at first. Thank you again

  42. Even if you do not have the custom harvestables in your inventory, you would be still able to cook the food ( you will be just required to pay a higher price). The ingredients in all the versions are optional.

  43. so i downloaded the file and some of the customfoods but when i go into my game i can click the custom foods icon but when the menu comes up none of the foods are there. I've re downloaded the files 2 times just in case i was missing something and i think i still am. I don't have the Jambalya file anymore either.

  44. I updated to the newest version of custom food interactions but all I get under custom food is vampire food and toddler food. There is no bake custom food or cook custom food. My game is up to date and I don't have the jambalaya file installed. It worked fine before I updated to the newest version.

  45. Hey can you check whether you have any duplicate version of the previous version hiding in your folders ? This can happen if you have two different versions! Did you download from the smfileshare link or MTS link ?

  46. I can't find any other duplicates in my folders. I downloaded from MTS. I saw the simfileshare link for it but I wasn't sure if it would work with your newer recipes like kale avocado salad and fried tofu since they require the newest version. I wasn't sure if the simfileshare was updated or not. But I'm not seeing any duplicates.

  47. I downloaded the one from simfileshare and the custom food tab didn't show up at all in the game. If I download the one from MTS, I only get vampire and toddler under the custom food tab.
